It is necessary to get nothing less than 7 or 8 hours of sleep every night to maintain a healthy heart. Not having a sufficient sleep increases the chances of developing heart related diseases which may include heart attack or stroke. Sleep apnea is a condition where an individual has difficulty in sleeping. To avoid developing cardiovascular disease, people that are managing sleep apnea should treat it because it is related to arrhythmias as well as heart disease.
Exercise helps to strengthen muscles, and the heart as a muscle should be exercised to keep it healthy and strong. You don’t have to undergo rigorous workout routines, any amount of physical activity is enough because it is better to exercise a little than not to workout at all. Frequently engage in exercises that strengthen all the major muscles in the body including the abdomen, arms, back, legs, shoulders as well as the hip.
