Take a minute to think about your own smile. Is there anything you would change? Maybe your teeth aren’t quite as white as you would like, or perhaps you have a small space between your front teeth.

Cosmetic dentist treatment can improve the appearance of the following flaws:

Depending on your dental concerns, your cosmetic dentistry treatment plan could entail a single procedure or a combination of procedures for a full mouth makeover. Your treatment plan will be completely tailored to your unique and individual needs. You may opt for a subtle enhancement or a dramatic transformation, based on what you imagine your “dream smile” would look like. With a more attractive smile, you will look years younger, feel more comfortable with yourself and project more confidence overall.

Dr. Edderai can rejuvenate your smile’s appearance through the following cosmetic dentistry services:

Porcelain Veneers & Lumineers

Porcelain veneers are small dental restorations applied to the surface of the teeth to mask dental flaws like small chips, cracks, stains, discoloration and spacing irregularities.

Lumineers are Dr. Edderai’s preferred brand of veneers. Since Lumineers are exceptionally thin, they do not require the removal of any tooth structure to accommodate them.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding, also known as composite bonding, involves the application of a resin material to improve the appearance of a tooth that is chipped, cracked or discolored. Bonding can also be used to fill in small gaps between the teeth, to protect an exposed tooth root or as an alternative to silver amalgam fillings.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening, otherwise known as tooth bleaching, lifts stains and discoloration to reveal whiter, brighter teeth. Dr. Edderai offers the Lumibrite Chairside whitening system for instantly brighter teeth. He can also provide take-home whitening kits.

The revolutionary CEREC machine enables Dr. Edderai to offer same-day customized dental restorations. With the help of CAD/CAM technology, Dr. Edderai can take images of your teeth, use the information to design your crown, mill the crown and place it — all at our office, during a single appointment. CEREC crowns are life-like, strong and durable.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers

What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are one cosmetic dentistry option available for patients in Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood and Bay Harbor to correct stained, chipped, or crooked teeth. Veneers are made of porcelain, a ceramic material that is applied to the front of the teeth. To accomplish the desired effect, porcelain veneers take approximately three visits to our office.

The Porcelain Veneer Procedure
The first visit to our office will consist of an exam to make sure that porcelain veneers are the right choice. During this visit, we will discuss the advantages and limitations of porcelain veneers.

The second visit to our porcelain veneers Miami office is used to prepare the teeth for the porcelain veneers. This is accomplished by removing ½ millimeter of tooth enamel. If the procedure is uncomfortable, local anesthetic can be used. After the teeth have been prepared, Dr. Edderai will take an impression of the teeth, which will be used to make the veneers. It will take approximately one to two weeks for the veneers to be manufactured.

The final office visit is scheduled in order to apply the porcelain veneers to the teeth. The teeth will be cleaned and the veneers will be bonded to the teeth with bonding cement. The cement is then hardened with a blue curing light (a process known as curing).

Dental Bonding

Dental Bonding

What is Bonding?
Bonding, also known as composite bonding or dental bonding, is a cosmetic dentistry procedure that can be used to repair chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth. Bonding can also be used to fill in gaps between teeth, protect the root of a tooth, or as an alternative to silver amalgam fillings. At Dr. Edderai’s dental bonding North Miami Beach / Miami office, we have been using bonding as the only means for teeth fillings for the past 28 years. Bonding takes approximately 30 minutes to one hour in a single visit to our office.

The Bonding Procedure
We begin by selecting a shade of composite resin (bonding material) that is closest to the shade of your teeth. Then, Dr. Edderai abrades the teeth and applies a liquid that helps the bonding material adhere to the teeth. The composite resin is then applied to the teeth, smoothed into the desired shape, and hardened with a high-intensity light. After the resin has hardened, Dr. Edderai makes the final touches and polishes the tooth until it resembles the other teeth. Dr. Edderai can repair multiple teeth during a single visit.

In addition to performing dental bonding in North Miami Beach, Dr. Edderai also offers a wide range of dental procedures for Invisalign, veneers and implant dentistry Miami patients. Patients also come to him from Bay Harbor, Aventura, Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood.
